Our development at Inverbeg Drive in Breightmet has been shortlisted for a national award, recognising the positive difference these new homes are making in the local community.
The development has been nominated in the Best Social Housing Development category at the Premier Guarantee National Awards 2026.
Delivered in partnership with Westchurch Homes, the development includes 94 affordable homes, ranging from one to four bedrooms and available through social rent, affordable rent and Rent to Buy. Supported by more than £5.8 million in Homes England funding, the homes are now fully occupied and provide much-needed affordable housing for local people.
Built with the future in mind, the homes are fully electric and heated using air source heat pumps, helping residents enjoy comfortable, energy-efficient homes that are better for the environment.
The nomination comes as we continue to invest in new affordable housing across Bolton and the surrounding area. With demand for affordable homes remaining high, new homes like these play an important role in providing more housing choices for local people and supporting thriving communities.
We’re currently developing more than 200 additional homes across the region and have plans to deliver around 250 new homes each year through a combination of new-build schemes and partnerships with private housebuilders.

The winners of the Premier Guarantee National Awards will be announced on 25 September 2026.
