New rules called STAIRs - Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements - came into effect from 1 October 2026.
STAIRs is all about making it easier for you to access information about how we’re run and the services we provide. You’ll be able to find information about:
- How we're run
- How we spend money
- Our performance and priorities
- Complaints
- Safety
- Our policies and services
Much of this information is already available, but STAIRs makes it easier to find in one place.
What if your website doesn't include the information I'm looking for? How do I ask for information under STAIRs?
The first phase of STAIRs is known as the Publication Scheme and came in from 1 October 2026 – but from 1 April 2027, you’ll also have the right to ask us for information about how we manage our homes and services.
This second phase is known as the Request for Information scheme. This could include information about things like your rent, repairs, complaints, customer service, safety, and more.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for on our STAIRs webpage (Publication Scheme), you’ll be able to make a request using the form on the same page (Request for Information).
