How do we set your rent?
Like other social housing providers, we follow government guidelines to set our rent levels.
For most of our properties, we set rent using a formula linked to a measure of inflation known as the Consumer Price Index (CPI). We usually calculate rent by adding 1% to the CPI rate of inflation from the previous September – but this can vary depending on the type of property you live in.
If you’d like to read our full Rent setting policy, you’ll find it on our Policies and strategies page. Tap here to open our Policies and strategies page.
