- If you’re a tenant of ours and live in Bolton, you might receive (or have already received*) a phone call asking you to book in for an Asbestos survey in your home – which includes checking your loft.
This is part of our ongoing grant-funded scheme to upgrade the loft insulation in many of our homes, and we’re expecting it to take around three months for all these asbestos surveys to be completed.
As well as helping to improve the energy efficiency of your home – improvements like this can also help to reduce your energy bills by helping to keep heat inside.
Here’s the important bit: we’ll be using three contractors called AEC, Tersus, and Scope-It to carry out these important surveys, and they’ll always provide ID when they visit. As always, please feel free to contact us if you’re not sure about someone visiting your home.
*FYI: we’ve already started to contact tenants over the phone to arrange these appointments.
